You did a follow up visit to explore the possible mine off the tunnel and did not give a definite answer to the reason for the mine. Yesterday we went to Morlais Tunnel, MT, it was great, got some lovely pictures.</p> <p>Soon a group of us are planning on visiting Abernant Tunnel but I have a concern regarding gases there. Yesturday I paid a visit to the Eastern portal. Went on the mountain bike so didnt enter, but I was really impressed. Impressed enough to cycle across the top of the mountain to visit Cefn Glas tunnel aswell.
